Unit tests?

Are there any comprehensive tests covering, for example, all the vocabulary and rules learned in unit 1? If so, where can I find them?

No, the real test is becoming an active learning, contributing member of the forum. The course is precursor to that. Once you take the course you will be able to start to understand what people are saying in the forum, and learn and become an active part of it.
