Praise for Spanish Dictionary

I saw online that somebody had said this about Spanish Dictionary so I just thought I'd share it with you guys.

These are the most popular Spanish online dictionaries I found: -Merriam-Webster- -WordReference- -SPANISHDICT- -FreeDict- -Google Translate- It seems there is a clear winner. SpanishDict has the correct translation for 17 of the 18 words. In fact it also has a translation for the word fagocitar, which was “to engulf, to swallow up”, but it is not a precise translation and so I did not consider it correct.

How would you translate "fagocitar"? Do you mean it is not the scientific term? - LuisaGomezBartle, Aug 2, 2010
I think Vince is quoting another individual - nizhoni1, Aug 2, 2010

Fagocitar as a verb would be tranlsated as phagocytise in English. This does mean to engulf or swallow The dictionary uses the noun phagocyte(s) which are white cells that phagocytise other cells, viruses, bactera etc.Phagocytosis is the English descriptor of that process.
