I am writing a letter and i need to say "I can't wait to to return. Hopefully i can come next year" in spanish smile

No puedo esperar volver. Espero volver el año que viene.

Don't ask my how you tell whether esperar is to wait or to hope, but even the machine translator was able to figure out the context and translate it correctly.

But - How do you tell the difference between wait and hope? I think it may well be that Spanish speaker don't give it a thought. How often do we English speakers think about the difference between ser and estar? Before we started learning Spanish, few, if any, did. cool smile
