Computer Geekness meets Spanish

During my first tenure in Spain, I really got a lot more into computer gaming from my roommate. I'd never cared about it too much at all before (pure console guy before) but now that I'm into it, naturally, I've gotten into upgrading my computer components!

I've got a laptop (can't fly around the world with a clunky desktop tower now can we?) and I've already upgraded my video card. Now that I've got it up and running, I've already ordered a new Intel Core 2 duo CPU to put in.

That got my spanish brain wondering - what word do you use for 'core' here? The thing about these CPU's is that they have more than one processing 'core' on the same CPU, 2 in my case, but they have quad cores too with 4.

What's the word that would be used here in spanish for 'core'?

Thanks Q! I didn't think to go to the spanish Wiki. I went to the conventional route of using the dictionary, but it didn't have a specific listing for the technological 'core'. Alright, so it's 'nucleo' apparently.
