Question

I am putting together a group voice chat on Skype for next week -- Saturday, August 7th at 6 p.m. EST. (11:00 p.m. England, 12:00 a.m. Spain)

? This group is for Intermediate/Advanced learners of English and Spanish.

? The topic will be "Slang and Palabrotas."

? Please prepare two phrases in English or Spanish for discussion and translation.

I would love to participate on the 7th. But having lived a very sheltered existence I fear I may not have much to contribute in the way of "Slang and palabrotas" But I shall do my best to search out something which may be acceptable for my delicate old ears. The chat last Saturday was soooo good Mariana held it together so well, and dear Melipiru gave us some great translations , all contributed in making it a very learning and sometimes an extremely funny session, it has become the highlight of my week , ( how sad is that ? ) Cannot wait for the 7th. Thank you to all those great people who make these events possible.

It pains me to say this but I can't make it on the 7th. I should rephrase that. It is my 27th anniversary on Aug 7 and if I'm on Skype it will likely be my last. Crap, 2 weeks in a row missed. I may go into withdrawal.
