Sorry! I have to ask again about 'Me va'
Hi,
Sorry, don't mean to be persistent but I was told by my Spanish teacher is that 'me va' and no 'me voy' has the meaning of 'I will' and format of 'me gusta' or 'me duele'....etc.

Ok,
Me va + noun/infinitive is a special structure that means: This goes for me, this is good for me, I like...
has the meaning of 'I will'
This was said by the poster and is not correct, this can only be correct in : (él) me va a hacer el desayuno. (eg.)
examples of me va (it does have the same conjugation format as "me gusta" as it means the same)
Me va ir al cine los sábados.
Me van los buenos vinos.
Me va comer en buenos restaurantes.
El foro me va.
Me va bien = It's going well for me
This was said by Jeezle, and is correct too, however, this refers to health or job or something, it substitutes: Qué tal estás, qué tal andas, Cómo estás?

Me va a + infinitive has the meaning of something will happen to me. Voy a + infinitive means I am going to do something.
I don't think me va is really used in the context you are imagining. It is definitely not used instead of "Me voy." Me va would really only come up as an indirect object with someone else doing the action. For example. Me va a hacer algo = he/she/it is going to do something to me. But to continue with the examples from your earlier thread, you could not say "Me va a la fiesta" (I'm off to the party). That would have to be "Me voy a la fiesta." The speaker is doing the action, not anyone else.
Me va bien = It's going well for me. ¿A qué te refieres?
Heidi did you mean to say "me va bien" substitutes your interrogarative examples or that it's an accepted answer.
Yes, indeed, bad wording![]()
I meant to say:
¿Qué tal te va? Me va bien.
is the same as:
¿Qué tal estás? Estoy bien.
Qué tal ta va? is actually extremely colloquial here in Spain and very often used.
Heidi quoted Jeezle
Me va bien = It's going well for me.
Heidi then posted

I'm sorry that we didn't really address the ''me va'' part of your original question.
I have never heard the expression ''me va'' and will wait for someone much more knowledgeable than I to answer your question.
