What does Golpe de Estado mean?

It is the title of a song and in context of the dictionary it would seem that it means "blow (impact) of state", however that makes very little sense. Ayudarme por favor!

Welcome to the forum. It means coup d'etat or coup - an armed overthrow of the government.
