Flashcards: easy, medium, or hard?

Question

I have been happily creating flashcard sets. However, I realize I don't know if there are guidelines for whether they should be classified easy, medium, or hard. Most of mine I have made medium because they're not easy for me - that's why I need them! - but they may not actually be medium.

Any suggestions?

I looked at a couple of your flashcard sets, and I'd agree that they are medium. It's purely a judgement call, of course, but I consider easy flashcards to be words you'd learn in first year Spanish, medium to be words you'd learn in high school after first year, and hard are words I don't know yet.

I usually forget to classify them and they all say easy. I will try not to forget. I think you should classify them as to what you think they are to you. You can edit that later, but it sometimes ruins the set. So let it stay at whatever you have it on.
