Yes: un poco = a little ( Spanish) um pouco = a little (BrazilianPortuguese)
un poquito = very little
I trust that you had simply made a typing error with um the Spanish use un poco
The Brazilian's say um pouco = a little the Spanish use a diminuitive form poquito but, as far as I know there is no diminutive equivavlent in Portuguese. I could not find it in my Portuguese Dictionary and I had been taking lessons with anatve speaker from Brazil, too.
I have been informed that the equivalent is poquinho
poco-----> little
poquito ----> tiny (very little)
Is that Portuguese I wonder?
Un poco =a little un poquito very little un poquitin a little bit.
