"Estar consciente" = to be conscious,

"Ser consciente" = to be aware of something, to have an awareness of something.

"El niño ya está consciente. Volvió en sí". The child is now conscious. He came to,"

"Soy consciente de los muchos problemas que me aguardan." - "I am aware of the many problems that await me."

Wait so it looks like our dictionary is wrong. Gekko says Estar consciente is to be either conscious OR aware while Ser conscient" means to be conscientious, I came here because of this:

Jajaja yo estoy consciente que salio de 9gag.com

And I was thinking, according to our dictionary and to what I've read in the past this is written wrong, and it looks like Gekko is saying the opposite of what Mountaingirl is saying here, which makes the sentence make sense.

Estar consciente: To be aware, or to be conscious.

Ser consciente: To be conscientious.

I'm having trouble understanding the difference between estar interesado and ser interesado. How do I construct a sentence using each one?
