Confused about the word Pregnancy.
Hola!
I'm a beginner, and discovered that there are so many words for pragnancy. I woul'd like to know more about these words from all of you that are more familiar with spanish.
I woul'd like to know the differents between the usage of the words. For example what the most common word is for pregnancy. I found these words: gestante, embarazada, encinte, preñada, fecundo, en estado.

Embarazada connects to Embarrassed in my mind. Is there really any connection in the origin of the words?
