Hello!

Thanks Marianne and Heidita for your advice but I have removed the information because I don't want to leave this question up on the internet.

Hope that is okay!

She knows his name! It is just my name on the invite - so I guess this means he is not invited?! - kirstenalexa

Now there is no doubt in my mind, he is invited too. But...is she a very good friend? Ask her! Cmon, no big deal!wink

I think you should go and have a good time!

The invite for you and a guest is proper because they didn't know your significant other's name. Respond with "Kristen and "Joe" will attend.

For a gift I would do a gift certificate at a nice restaurant for the couple.

thanks marianne - but the problem is he does not appear to be invited! It is just to me! No 'plus one' and no 'guest' - kirstenalexander, Jul 29, 2010
