How did it come about? OR How it came about
Do you think "Como ocurrió" should work well for this? I'm just about to finish my project on "Viña Rock" and I want one of the slides to say "How did it come about?" or rather, "How it came about"
So far they say
- Viña Rock......El mejor festival de musica en España
- ¿Qué es?
- Como surgió
- La clase de gente que asiste
- Los grupos que tocan allá
- Información diversa
I don't feel like this project is very good so far, but these summer courses don't give you much time to put something together. We had one day to do this, and I have to work tonight, and all day tomorrow.

What do you mean by number three? In sentence two cómo surgió is the most colloguial.
Bandas de Rock is ok if all "grupos son de rock" and not play soloists.
"Los tipos de personas" no se entiende. Quizás te refieras a : Clase de gente que asiste a los conciertos.
Oh, and banda...that is like an orquestra.
