Yes cadyshack was a classic. I always thought that topo was gopher.

For Mexican Spanish, the word for gopher is: la tuza. For Central American Spanish, the word is: la tultuza.

These words come from the Nahuatl word for mole ('la tultuza' means 'ground mole'). As far as I know, in South America and Spain the same word for ground squirrel ('ardilla de tierra') is used.
