Diagnostician in Spanish?

A diagnostician is an expert in a field who performs evaluations and provides a diagnosis. It could be instrucitonal or health related. How is it translated in Spanish? diagnosticador? especialista de diagnóstico?

A lot of the time, especially when we're trying to think of a job that we don't know the name of, we just make it into a (job)-ador(a). This is definitley improper spanish, but nontheless, it is used.

For example, the name of the job for the person that hooks up my internet was not an enchufador, but since we couldn't think of the name (and they accidentally transfered me to a spanish line) I just asked for "El enchufador del internet" and they understood.
