In math equations English has ( ) or parenthesis. Does Spanish math use the ( ) parenthesis?

Yes. It's been some years since I took a math class in Spanish and that was 5th grade math but I've double checked online and they are used the same in Spanish as they are in English for math. However, as you may or may not be aware, commas and periods are switched.
