1 Bedroom 1 Bath

Question

I am wanting to know how you would write

"1 Bedroom 1 Bath"

I planned on putting a "1" for the one, but I am getting stumped with Bedroom and Bath.

There are several words for bedroom depending on whether the context is a hotal bedroom usually referred to as una habitación or a bedroom in a person's private home which is usually called un dormitorio

Cuarto is a Spanish word which can mean bedroom but from my experience is less coomonly used than dormitorio to mean bedroom but cuarto is used to describe other rooms eg cuarto de baño = bathroom

So I would write (un) 1 dormitorio y (un) 1 cuarto de baño

= One bedroom and one bathroom

I know in nothern Mexico you hear cuarto most often. I have only rarely heard dormitorio, which has been on TV. But I could be wrong and will check with my friends this weekend. - kerflop, Jul 27, 2010

Cuarto is a dormitorio but informal. Cuarto= room with 4 walls
