Could anybody please help me translate this?

"Pues sí, ha tenido que ser la selección de fútbol la que enseñe a los españoles que, como Nación, no hay más límites que los que se imponga a sí misma."

I understand the words, but I'm having some difficulty in putting them together into one coherent sense.

Yes, it had to be the football team that teaches the Spanish that, as a nation, there are no more limits than those imposed on itself.

What are you confused about?

well, I was confused about the one too many occurrences of the "que" as in "no hay más límites que los que se imponga a sí misma". and especially the right translation for "que los que se..." - 00494ed7, Jul 27, 2010
