Hi Pilar, could it have been 'me heló hasta los huesos?' That would be 'chilled to the bone' or maybe even in the sense how you would feel if you got a scare...Just another idea.

I think in sentences such as this:

Hace un frío que se me cuela hasta los huesos.

  • it refers to a cold that seeps or gets right into the bones. Perhaps - chills to the bone might be the English equivalent.

But I'm not sure if that was your context?

Would you mind sending us a complete sentence or the context? This could refer to being soaked (by water)...but maybe something else.
