"Darse la vuelta" means "to turn around." "Dar una vuelta" has other meanings, such as "go for a ride, a walk, etc."

The command form of "Turn around" is "Date la vuelta,"

The difference between formal and informal has no relation with the topic. You say "Date la vuelta" to someone so that he/she turns around himself/herself. And you say "dale la vuelta" to someone so that he/she turns something around ( but not himself). - kawalero, Jul 25, 2010
Okay, thank you so much, Kawalero. - --Mariana--, Jul 25, 2010

To turn is the verb girar, around is alrededor.

Not sure of the conjugation though.

My guess is "giras alrededor".

There may be one word for it.

Quick correction, ¿Cómo se dice?
