Sorry, I forgot to say Welcome on the other page. But since its the same question, I'll say ¡Hola! now and then repeat my answer.
Yes. To both questions. Your name stays the same and they have different way to say the same name... usually.
William, for example stays William, George gets to keep being called George.
Guillermo is the same as William Just as Jorge, gets to keep being called Jorge.
It would invalidate his passport if John White went to Argentina and renamed himself Juan Blanco.
But nicknames are different ... if someone liked being called Shorty here, they might want to be called Corto there
The pronunciation changes. Let me give you a quick example. The name Gus is one of the most beautifull names in the history of humand kind but when you pronounced it in Spanish, it is pronounced as Goose; not very dignified - to be sure.
In Spanish, most proper nouns (a name is a proper noun) stays the same, although many people use the Spanish pronunciation. SOME, but not all, names have a Spanish equavalent, as the previous answer indicated. However, grammar rules do not require you to make the change.
I think that stay the same but if Your nomber is George in spanish is Jorge.
