el heliesquí means the downhill skiing?

correct me if I am wrong.. I cannot find it in dictionary.

A suggestion.

There is an "extreme" sport called "Heli-skiing", where you drop out of a helicopter straight onto the mountain in your skis. Usually because there's no easy way up the mountain, and its too dangerous to land.

Could that be it?

Downhill skiing is usually called esquí alpino.

Just as it is often called Alpine skiing in English.

But as Font says Heli esquí is a little different.

and is easily found on Google.ES (no 'com' just 'es')
