Advertisements, click;(A positive way to support this wonderful site.)
I especially like to click on the advertisments in Spanish on this site. Good vocabulary, and sometimes entertaining. I was thinking about some sites, where upon entering the site, they ask you up front to click on the advertisment to show support. Advertisers do calulate advertising success by counting the number of clicks, per site.
Not all the advertising is in Spanish of course, but I will continue to click away, and support the site in that way. It is a positive way to support this wonderful site.

This is a great learning tip. I also enjoy reading package labels that appear in both Spanish and English. If I'm stuck on part of the Spanish reading the English label usually helps me figure it out. ![]()
Sometimes the advertisers have to pay per click. So for the really bad ones, Click Often.
Especially the one that can't spell the word Official!

I'd never considered this - before but I think it's a good way to show my support for what is, effectively, free knowledge and free fun. Now then ..... where's that zombie with the chocolate bar .....
Nice one, Joe!
Agreed, great learning tip... I love trying to read ads and labels in Spanish first than in English...
Great idea. Now that the advertisements on my page are no longer preventing my full use of the site, I have been feeling much more kindly toward them. I have checked out most of them and will continue to do so.
I click the ads too...I think that SD gets paid for each visitor to the sponser's site. Any way I can help SD keep it's services free to us is okay by me.
Never thought of it like that before.
I'm sure we all realise that the ads are necessary, just as I'm sure many of us find them annoying.
As you say, we should encourage them to keep paying for the site, and as Late To Dinner points out, we should make them pay more.
The Kraft food advertisement in Spanish is extensive with recipes and videos in Spanish. Interesting!
