The Word of the Day got me thinking.....
Should the Conditional tense be used here, the Future tense or simply the Present Indicative?
Seems like a good candidate for the Conditional?
Prefiero una ducha más que un baño a menos que por supuesto tenga una compañera.
I prefer a shower over a bath unless of course I have a companion.

a menos que is a contingency condition which triggers the subjunctive so, yes, it is tenga. - rockdown667, Jul 22, 2010

I agree with rockdown: you have it right.
You should look into dual showers, though - nothing to scoff at!
