How do you say "cutter", as in someone who cuts him/herself?

There isn't a specific word for "cutter".

You may ask "¿Te cortas?" = Do you cut yourself?

But normally cutters fall into the general category of those who hurt themselves.

In México, an "emo" (like in the US, I may be wrong) comes along with the label of cutter, but being no specific word in English, we just say "que se corta" or "que se auto lastima".

Hola,

No creo que aún se haya creado el término clínico. Le pregunté a mi mamá en Colombia y tampoco sabe un término exacto. Esperemos...

I asked someone here (I'm in Mexico) and he said "emo". I wonder if there isn't a direct translation.
