¡Hasta la pasta!

...joking... I just say that to be funny. Not a legitamte phrase. (And judging by the looks I get when I say it, even to my friends, it probably isn't even that funny...) tongue wink

Well I'll be jiggered... I had no idea. I googled it and found http://www.hastalapasta.com/ Who'da thunk? - chaparrito, Jul 21, 2010
oh - I was thinking 'pasta' as in 'dinero' and wondering what business you were in.... hmmm (joke) - margaretbl, Jul 21, 2010
I hope its not a goodbye statement. Not a good advert. - fontanero, Jul 21, 2010
Ah... dinero. jejejeje... I forgot about that meaning. Maybe that explains the looks... :-D - chaparrito, Jul 21, 2010

To add to Marianne's answer:-

Hasta la vista, I'll be back!

Sorry, hope I don't get "Terminated" for that.

Some not so well-known "hasta phrases":

¡hasta ahora! = see you later!, see you in a bit!

hasta dentro de un rato = see you in a while

hasta más ver = see you later!
