Is there a Spanish word for pot-plant?
Would it be "una planta de maceta?" ? The type of plant is undefined.
Edit:Sorry for all the confusion! I was referring to an indoor plant of some sort that is contained within a 'pot' or container. Definitely not marijuana

Do you mean a potted plant? Notice that in English we use a adjective.
(planta) en maceta o tiesto: I have lots of potted plants,
tengo un montón de plantas en tiesto
Cáñamo sativa - Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you meant Pot plantphoto compliments of Wikipedia
I just wanted to confirm that in the UK/Ireland, we would frequently use the term "pot-plant" or "pot plant" rather than say "potted plant".
For instance, here is a UK website dedicated to the supply of indoor plants; it has a section dedicated to "Pot Plants" (and I don't mean marijuana).
You are almost correct: una planta en maceta a potted plant
Under plant In my Spanish Dictionary planta (bot) is the word for plant
and under pot I found
A. (plant) plantar ...verb (de la maceta)
