El horno era un buen lugar para secar mi móvil después de ponerlo en la lavadora.

The oven was a good place to dry out my mobile after putting it in the wash machine.

En verano, rara vez utilizamos el horno, pero casi síempre usamos la barbacoa.

In the summer, we rarely use the oven, but almost always use the barbecue.

My contribution here is an idiomatic expression we use in Argentina:

¡Olvídate de cuchillo y tenedor! comer el pollo al horno con las manos es mucho mejor.
