Since avatar works well in both English and Spainish is there a time you would use encarnación?

I was looking at a flashcard set where someone used avatar and of course both sides said avatar (that shouldn't be too hard to learn, should it!) Out of curiosity I looked up avatar for a definition and got encarnación. Is the anywhere that encarnación would be used in place of 'avatar'?

Well it is not even in my (usually) excellent dictionary. I think this is a word that will probably be in all the new editions. Encarnation of course has a biblical meaning but maybe it will be reborn as a the word for avatar. Very interesting.
