Song "Belanova" Translation exercise
In English.
I feel that since that moment I saw you I deciphered (worked out) that you will never be for me that knowing you was my error or maybe love was mistaken
every (time?) that I think of/about you it turns on my heart and today nothing is more sadder than talking of you
I feel that you cut off my breathing everytime that you bring yourself a little bit nearer to me that knowing you was my error or maybe love was mistaken
every (time?) that I think of/about you it turns on my heart and today nothing is more sadder than talking of you
But this story/history has to stop I really dont understand this this situation doesnt have a case (isnt real/isnt going to happen etc..) because its so ilogical
every (time?) that I think of/about you it turns on my heart and today nothing is more sadder than talking of you.

Let me help you! :D
I feel that since that moment I saw you I deciphered (worked out) that you will never be for me that knowing you was my error or maybe love was mistaken
I think it would sound more natural if you said "figured out" instead of deciphered. It should be "(you will never be for me)..."that maybe meeting you was my mistake.." Also, in this case "meeting you" is more appropriate than that "knowing you"; since she is not implying that she got to know this person better, but meeting him. That's where that sentence ends. So, that "that" before knowing should be take off.
Here we have some options: personally, I'd say "meeting you was my mistake or maybe love was wrong", it's more natural. How ever, if you want to use "my error", then you should change "was" for "were".
I think of/about you it turns on my heart and today nothing is more sadder than talking of you
Yes, you should say "every time". I think "of" is appropriate. I would say "it turns my heart on" not "turns on my heart". We have also two options here: you can say "nothing is sadder than" or "nothing is more sad than", but not "more sadder than". any of those two are okay.
I feel that you cut off my breathing everytime that you bring yourself a little bit nearer to me that knowing you was my error or maybe love was mistaken
I would say "I feel you stop my breathing", if you want to use "cut off" then use "breath" instead of "breathing". And think about the notes I wrote regarding the rest of that sentence, since it applies as well.
But this story/history has to stop I really dont understand this this situation doesnt have a case (isnt real/isnt going to happen etc..) because its so ilogical
"History" in English is like... things that happened, like the history class you take in school, so "story" here is more like "tale" or "situation", so "story" is the appropriate term here. "this situation doesn't have a case" is a literal translation of the Spanish phrase, to me it doesn't quite make sense on its own. So you can say "it's a pointless situation".
I hope it helps and I don't come out too mean or anything. :D Good luck!
