Unable to access the "More" features because of advertisements

I hope someone may be able to help. I would like to access the "More" category, but an advertisement blocks me from doing so. When I click on "More" on the list of options on this site, and try to scroll down, the "More" options disappear. I am able to click on the word of the day, but this is all.
I do hope I'm making myself understood. I would appreciate some help!

This has been a problem for many people. I hope they fix the location of advertisements soon!

There was a recent thread on this, search "placement of advertisments". Sorry, I can't do the link.
I have the same problem some days. Try reloading the page, it works for me sometimes.
