What does "¿A que sí Luis?" mean?

There is an expression **¿A que sí? ** which means= isn't that so/true ?

so your phrase means: Isn't that so, Luis?

"¿A que sí Luis?"

¿ A poco, Luis?

They both mean something similar to, "You don't say, Luis?"

I DO say! ....... ¡A que no!

The only translation I can think of this is:

" Do you want to bet, Luis?" used in the context of two people discussing something over which they do not agree.

For example. Luis might say "I am a better driver than you" to which a reply could be, "Do you want to bet, Luis?" meaning 'I would bet / wager that you are not!'

There may be other meanings!
