I heard this expression in a show and looked on google. I found many similar interjections like this: Ah rayos, eso fué un error jaja,
I know rayo is a bolt of light or ray of light. Does this just mean "Dang" or something? Gracias.

Not really. One guess is that it could be a contraction of the curse: "mal rayo te parta!" - "may you be rendered by an evil lightining bolt" - Gekkosan, Jun 29, 2010
