"Le extraño la Republica Dominicana."

Is that the correct way to say, "I miss the Dominican Republic"?

Le extraño la Republica Dominicana

This is wrong.

La republica domincanan is the direct object. "the thing that you directly miss."

So you can :

Extraño a la Republica Dominicana. -- I miss Dominican Republic.

Thank you! Now when I check this on translators it is different, but I assume this is due to the inaccuracy of translators.

It's simpler, actually: "extraño República Dominicana"
