Distraer means Distraction?
I was looking for the word in Spanish that means "distraction". I got "distraer", however I think that it also means "entertainment".
If I want to say to someone in Spanish:
"No quiero distraer te"
Does the above mean "I do not want to distract you" or
"I do not want to entertain you" ?
So what is the proper way to say "I do not want to distract you" in Spanish?
thank you all for your help.

"Entertain" simply means to "distract you in a way that is pleasurable" .(to cause you to, momentarily, forget the misery of the general human condition).
Interrumpir, desviar
No quiero distraer te.
distraerte
The object pronouns never follow verbs. They either precede them or are attached to them.
