Media Essay
Hey guys. this is a speech that I have written for my spanish class . The context is that I am a guest speaker at a UN conference talking about the influence of media. Can you please help? The teacher says that I MUST have subjunctive to pass. Thanks guys! =)
Hola soy Jeffrey. Estoy honorado para estar aquí y hablar a ustedes sobre el influencia de los medios de comunicación. Yo espero que hayan oído sobre el niño en México de edad 17. Que disparo a cuatro estudiantes y un profesor. Todo de los periódicos no dudo que el está loco y el es un maniaco, Pero si veríamos a su antecedentes, podemos entender que lo causo para hacer esto atrocidad.
La violencia ha contaminado todo de los medios de comunicación. La televisión está llena de la basura como los asesinatos, las torturas y las violaciones, como las películas de "saw" que contienen violencia más graphicos. También la juventud estar exponidose al los horrificos del ordenador. juegos recientes como "Call of Duty" que se permite ser un terrorista y matarlos innocentes en un aeropuerto. cosas como esto lo hacia los ninos desconectado de la realidad y ser mas apatico por la violencia de hoy.
Todos de estos problemas pueden ser resueltos si los padres pagarían un poquito más de sus tiempo para proteger los niños. Por ejemplo se deberían ver los programas con ellos y si piensen que tiene demasiado sangre se puede cesarlos niños para verlos. También tienen que preguntarle al alguien si los juegos son inadecuados por niños y jugar los videojuegos apropiados con ellos. Porque el censura del gobierno solo puede hacer un poco del control. A la larga una familia necesitare decidir: “¿que debo mostrar mis hijos?”
No sólo los padres podrían hacer las vidas de sus hijos más seguros pero también tendrán una oportunidad para mejorar los vínculos con sus hijos. no es cierto que no selos muestremos la violencia a los jovenes pero, podemos reducir la cantidad que se exponen.

I'll put a couple of things that jump out at me and I'm sure others will come along with some extra help.
- Second line down 'yo se' should be 'yo sé' don't forget the accent
And although you need to use the subjunctive it isn't correct to use it in that sentence.
Yo se que hayan oído sobre el niño en México de edad 17.
If you know something then it doesn't trigger the subjunctive: Verbs of knowledge or certainty should followed by the indicative not the subjunctive.
This is the same for this sentence:
Todo de los periódicos lo digan que el está loco y el es un maniaco,
You can't use the present subjunctive here because the newspapers really did say that didn't they - there's no doubt, it's not your opinion or anything so you need to use the preterit - dijeron. Remembering that the subjunctive can reflect 'reaction' as it is a mood rather than an actual tense - you could use it if you said "I was shocked to hear that the newspapers said ...."
Another point to take notice of is that accents are very important - you need the accent on disparó to say 'he shot' in the past tense.
also I would join those two sentences together - 'you have heard of the boy ... that shot' it's a bit strange having that second sentence separated off and it doesn't really make sense on it's own.
Is there any particular reason why you have used estar with loco but ser with manioco in the same sentence? You can ofcourse use either but the meanings will be different as in 'he was crazy to do what he did' or 'he was inherently mental'.
I'll leave the rest for some others to comment on but hope that gives you something to get started on. I'd suggest reading an article on when to use the subjunctive because you can't just pop it in anywhere and understanding when and where to use it will stand you in good stead for future use.
