Best way to learn Spanish here?

Hello,

I am new to this site and want to know what the best way is too learn spanish here. I speak fluent dutch and no romance languages. Only I had french for 2 years on college but it was a disaster. I was good in learning words/sentences but reading and especially listing they always spoke way to quick. But spanish is easier to pronounce for a dutch person I think.

But now I have no idea what is the best way to start. Doing lessons here is fun. And yesterday I found the flashcard section with all kinds of subjects.I have searching but it's hard to find wich are the importanst. I found also usersets but I don't know wich people make good cards with not much misstypes.

First thing you should do is fill out your profile to let people know your level of English and Spanish, and also tell them what your native language is. This way members of SpanishDict can answer your questions directed specifically for you.

You're doing great by going through the video lessons, and there is a lot more information under the "More" tab (located at the top of this screen). Just go to the "Reference" section and look at the articles.

As for flashcards, I'd only recommend those user sets from people with high reputation points because they are less likely to have many mistakes. If you find a mistake in the cards, it's great to let the owner know by Private Message.
