There are a few verbs that can be used:

levantar la sesión suspender la sesión diferir aplazar clausurar trasladar terminarse las sesiones retirarse o trasladarse

the meeting was adjourned - se levantó la sesión the court adjourned - el tribunal levantó la sesión the meeting was adjourned until the following day - la reunión fue pospuesta hasta el día siguiente
