does the adjective go before or after a word? example: a strong commitment- would it be un compromiso fuerte o fuerte compromiso?

Hi and welcome to the SpanishDict forum.

Most times the adjective goes after the noun.

Take a look here at this lesson and you'll see some cases where the adjective should go first.

In your case I believe that it would be "fuerte compromiso " because the adjective goes to the essential quality of the noun.
