It means "sculpted," it is a modification of the past participle of esculpir, which is esculpido. But, it is being used as an adjective in this sentence. This means that it must agree in number and gender of the noun it is describing (imágenes), thus it is given the feminine ending -a and an -s is added to that to make it plural.
