You smell very good!!

Hello all! What are some common ways of saying things like "I like your smell", or "you have a very nice smell", when complementing a persons perfume/fragrance?Not necessarily direct translations of the above phrases, but what one would actually hear in español. It seems like "hueles muy bien" might come off as "you are a very good smeller".

I think I would stay less personal and just say 'Me gusta su/tu perfume'.

Or if it is the 'person' you want to say smells nice 'Tiene un olor agradable'. (Vd) - margaretbl, Jun 23, 2010

So you were right with your first guess "hueles bien" or you can say "Me gusta tu olor" (I like your smell) - I'd go with the first one though, the second one sounds a bit weird lol smile

Yes it does literally just thought it might come across gramatically as you smell very good to me. - kenwilliams, Jun 23, 2010
