What do you mean by "way"? That is not a Spanish word, but probably you mean a Spanish word that sounds like "way."

Right now, I can't think of any that sound like "way" (of course, I'm just learning Spanish). Can you explain how you come to ask the question? That might help.

Güey sounds a heck of a lot like "way" in English. Just try to say "gway" in English and you barely hear the G anway. Some peoples' accent just cuts out the "g" altogether - 003487d6, Jun 21, 2010

Guey means dude, mostly. Girls don't like to hear it and find it rude when a guy says it.

That's probably it. It's güey, by the way, and, according to our dictionary it can mean several rude things. - webdunce, Jun 21, 2010
Yeah, but in casual conversation most people use it as "dude" or "man" when talking to other guys. Unless you emphasis it as rude like this "Dame una cerveza....en botella....G U E Y". That's rude. - jeezzle, Jun 21, 2010
And F Y I it is pronounced W A Y in Texas but you can say it either way. - jeezzle, Jun 21, 2010
