Questions regarding dictionary entry "toma"
there are some mistakes on this translation into English'. Namely, noun: gripe should be grip, but even spelled correctly, it's not a good translation. Seizure is primarily used as a medical event (having a seizure). I thought that the "taking' "receiving' referred to only things ingested (eaten, taken by mouth). If that is the case, remove taking receiving and use eating, ingesting.

Using tomar for taking has much wider meaning than just ingesting, so the 'taking' entry would be correct:
