Phrasebook administrators
Hats off to such a daunting project. The number is getting larger and larger and it seems to be harder to stay up with the contributors. I know I still have phrases I added in April that are awaiting approval. I also noticed a number of duplicates which could have happened due to the time lag or not being able to search on the English translation. For example, "better late than never" is in twice and ¿Qué pasa? is in three times. All in all, the administrators are doing a fine job and I would like all of us to give them a big hug, kisses and congrats!
To keep it on top I will start adding

Thank you for your understanding on phrases that have been "marinating" since April! (or even sooner!)
One of the administrators has had to take a leave of absence, so we are operating with two moderators; it takes both of us to approve a phrase.
One of the features that makes Spanish such a great language is its variety of expressions! However, the challenging part of this feature is the time it may take to research a slang expression that neither one of us is familiar with.
We are not complaining! Keep the phrases coming! We thank you for your patience in waiting for your phrases to be published....months, in some cases, I know.... 
I have tried to get the search function corrected and working....no luck, so we count 2000 odd phrases so far but I guess we may have like a thousand only.

I have seen Margaret's frequent attempts to recruit submissions but never any requests for administrative assistance. If someone would like to help, is there anyone specific to contact? Or is there anything one can do on their own to assist?
In the suggestion list, I see add translation. Are volunteers allowed to assist or does that increase an administrators job? I would like to help, not hinder.
"Constant'" - oh dear, I knew I was nagging but when I see a beautiful phrase I really, really want it to be added but don't want to 'poach' it and go and put it in myself. I have been trying to restrain myself but it is hard with such a beautiful language that is so rich in descriptive phrases. Yes, it is true that there are duplicates so when I enter a phrase, I always, as Late points out, check to be sure that it is NOT there already and when I recognize one or find a one that's a duplicate I add a note and I know the Administrators are watching that. I'm sure when we are near the 5,000 mark someone will go through and clean it up nicely. Personally I think it could go to 50,000.
