Why do the adds block my drop down menu?

It seems like the add on the web page continually block my drop down menu. I sent an email to spanishdict.com to let them know, but it is still happening.

If you're using Internet Explorer, you can go to page on the tool bar and click on "text size" and try changing that. I've never had a problem with spanishdict, but on some websites I've changed the text size to avoid clashing with ads.

I run a firefox browser ad blocker add-on. Usually it has no effect, but sometimes it does. - 0074b507, JUN 19, 2010

Be patient. When you accumulate enough points you only get ads to the right of the discussions and sometimes none at all. Here is a screen capture of my current page: no ads!

It seems to me like only some of the ads block the drop down menus. If that happens I move forward or backward a page and then I can usually see the drop down menu. A bit frustrating but this awesome site is free so no complaints from me!
