Had occasion to look uo the word 'toldo' which came back as umbrella [de playa]. I had seen this interesting reference from a Panamanian: When I was young I had the opportunity to listen to some of these Cuban bands in Panama City during carnivals. I lived in the "Chorrillo" section of the city where most "toldos" (Open air beer/dance halls) were built
