Cats or Dogs? Gatos o Perros?
Which do you think is better, dogs or cats . ¿Cuál piensas es mejor? perros o gatos?
I say cats are better because: Digo que los gatos son mejores porque:
- They are more independent (son más independientes)
- They clean themselves (Se limpian a sí mismos)
You can leave their food out without them eating it all (se puede dejar su comida sin ellos comer toda)

I've always had cats because they are soft, loving, and easy to take care of. However, recently (two years ago) we adopted our first dog...she's fantastic!!! A little mixed dog -- part chihuahua and part dachshund -- who is the cutest being on earth. She looks something like this:
I like both and although I loved my cat when i was little it's my dog that was my best friend 
Still I have to say that we don't have a dog at the moment so that we can go away when we want but we do have a cat because cats are much easier.
Cats are independent. There is no problem if you leave a cat alone at home for a few days and they will not be traumatized. Just make sure you leave enough dry food and water available to them.

Also, cats purr. And is really is a feel good sound. It has even been proven that a cat’s purr can lower your blood pressure and your stress levels.
Además, los gatos ronronean. Y es que realmente es una sensación de buen sonido. Incluso se ha demostrado que ronroneo de un gato puede bajar la presión arterial y sus niveles de estrés.

Dogs, I have two Alaskan Malamutes, but I want chickens too as I want presents everyday. Cats are OK just not for me
I am a cat and dog lover. I love both of them. They both have good and bad points.
Not too fussed about cats , I like dogs ,but they are not good friends with my chickens and I love my chickens for they give me presents every day. 
I dont like cats because once my cat killed my parrot . :(
But I always likes Dog. My dog (Blackie) is my best friend
I don't know about you, but my cats always need me, they are always dirty, and they scarf their food down instantly...just sayin'
I am a cat person all the way. I grew up raising dogs and I think that I have grown tired. I have three cats, Mama cat, Cyclone, and Amos. They are my loves except when they throw up on the rug. 
Quiero gatos con leche por la mañana y poco perros para un merienda ligera de tarde. I like cats with milk in the morning and little dogs for a light snack in the afternoon.
I don't like cats, because they hunt and eat one of my favorite animals: Iguanas
I am at odds with dogs because some of them ate a bunch of my clutch of another one of my favored critters, morrocoyes (land turtles):
Nah... the fact is, I like most animals, regardless.
I like dog, but I think cat is far better for making mole. yuuuuuuuum.

It's all the same to me. We have two dogs, three cats, a rabbit and a turtle. As you can see, we like animals.
