Are any of you getting 'page load' errors on this site?

I'm having a bit of an argument with my ISP, they're telling me everything is alright but I'm having the same problem with all the computers on my network, and it seems to be a problem with multiple sites. Page load errors and constantly being disconnected are driving me crazy. I do not think the problem is with SpanishDict.com, I just need confirmation. Thanks!!

I had to drop my beloved firefox and use Google chrome. It was just to slow and cut out on me at least five times a day. Today , on chrome I got Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET) I found that making sure the box that lets http sites be accessed might have cured that (it's in the google chrome option bar). This is only my third day on Google chrome. It was the only thing I could get here on.

hmm, CONNECTION_RESET errors are what I'm getting, in Firefox. Thanks! - Jack-OBrien, Jun 10, 2010

A couple of days ago (maybe 3 or 4), whenever I would try to access SD, the browser would forever say..."waiting on SD.com"...but that only last like a day or two.

I use Firefox and always do with this site.

Of course, SD only gives me one ad, due to my point level, SD performance problems largely disappeared for me once that happened. - webdunce, Jun 11, 2010

Well, I don't know if my problem is fixed or not, but part or the problem seems to be. My ISP had major problems with one of their two bandwidth providers, and they supposedly fixed that last night around midnight. So, for me, things are a lot better, and Spanishdict.com is responding a lot better too.

I've had a few problems, typically when I've attempted to post an answer or a comment (and failed to copy my stuff before posting) but I've only had them with SD.

Yeah, the problem 'comes and goes' it seems. Just when I think all is well.... - Jack-OBrien, Jun 10, 2010

Yes, I think since about a couple of days ago, a few times a day I would lose my connection, but after a few minutes I get it back. I assumed though that the problem is with my ISP and not with SD.

Well, in a way it's good to know that it could be local to this site. I'm having the same trouble with other sites though. I'm not sure what to make of it. - Jack-OBrien, Jun 10, 2010

About an hour ago SpanishDict pages would never load for me and Firefox eventually to the page it gives when it has given up, but it started working again shortly thereafter. That's the only problem I've had recently.

Jack... Yes, I am having occasional problems with being directed to a page that gives me an error.

You are not alone in this regard. We are experiencing some degree of interference possibly due to bad/weak links OR problems outside of SpanishDict

I am now using Coogle Chrome as Internet Explorer 8 (yes even version 8 !!!!) was not alllowing me to access this site.

Best regards,

FELIZ77

Thank you. Since I have been getting errors from another site I thought maybe the problem was/is on my end. - Jack-OBrien, Jun 10, 2010
"bad/weak links OR problems outside of SpanishDict". I think so too. My data throughput is very erratic, and it's not just with Spanishdict.com - Jack-OBrien, Jun 10, 2010

I've had some intermittent problems connecting to SpanishDict over the last couple of days.
