I want to say, 'I have a love, hate relationship with Gijon.'

'Tengo un amor, el odio relación con Gijon.'

Or this isn't a phrase that is used in Spanish?

In French is Un rapport d'Amour-haine

In Italian is Relazione amore-odio

In English is a love-hate relationship

Therefore in Spanish it would have to be una relación de amor-odio

I'd say "Tengo un relación con Gijon que es del amor y el odio."

Edit: I found this in one dictionary:

love-hate relationship = relación de amor odio
