To lance a boil - in Spanish please
I have to ask a doctor to lance an infection from an insect bite.
How can I do that? Gracias.
Just to complete the picture it is on "mi trasero"

The amount of people in this country who do not know why the General Medical Journal here is called "The Lancet" is not to believe, as my parents pensioner friends from Holland would say. Many suggest it would have been better calling it "The Scalpel".
I got this for to lance (a boil) = "abrir con una lanceta."
lanceta.
(Del dim. de lanza).

"Abrir una furúncula con lanceta."
Actually, I reckon "abrir una furúncula" will be sufficient. Let the doc decide what to use.
Thanks Ian. Please take a photo of them in the jar and post it so we can continue to make tasteless comments (in SPanish of course) about them.
I bet you are relieved!
Hola,
Me alegra mucho saber que estás mejor. Otra palabra que se usa para "forúnculo" es "nacido".
Toco madera...
Just a quick update - had the "things" in my bum removed.
No idea what they are but the surgeon gave me them as a souvenir.
Thought you all would like to know that.
